Terms of sale and use.
These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place with us. Please read them before you buy — placing an order means you accept them.
1. Who we are
Aminolabs is a trading name of Tailored Nutrition Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17462266, with its registered office at 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Tailored Nutrition Ltd.
2. Research-only sale
Everything we sell is supplied strictly as a laboratory reference material for research use. Our products are not medicines, hold no marketing authorisation, and must not be administered to any person or animal. Our full position is set out in our Research disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
If you are buying in order to administer the material to a person or animal, you may not buy from us.
3. Eligibility
To order you must be 18 or over, have legal capacity to enter a contract, and be acting as a qualified person purchasing for laboratory research. We may ask you to evidence this at any point, and we may refuse or cancel an order where we are not satisfied.
4. How a contract is formed
Your order is an offer to buy. Our acknowledgement email confirms we have received that offer; it does not accept it. A contract comes into existence only when we email to confirm the goods have been dispatched, and it covers only the goods named in that dispatch confirmation.
We may decline an order for any lawful reason, including where stock has run out, where a price or description was wrong, where we cannot verify eligibility, or where we suspect the order is not for research use. If we decline after taking payment, we refund in full.
5. Pricing and payment
Prices on the site are in pounds sterling. Delivery is free on every order, so the price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Payment is taken at checkout by the methods shown there.
We take reasonable care to price accurately. If we find an obvious pricing or description error before dispatch, we will contact you to confirm the corrected price or cancel the order and refund you; we will not simply charge the higher amount.
Trade pricing, tiers and payment terms for wholesale accounts are agreed separately in writing and sit alongside these terms.
6. Delivery, risk and checking your order
Delivery is free on all orders. Delivery times, carriers and cut-offs are set out on our Shipping page. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and we are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, by weather, or by an incorrect or incomplete address.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Please check your parcel on arrival and tell us within 48 hours if anything is damaged, missing or not what you ordered, with photographs. Reporting promptly lets us resolve things with the carrier.
7. Cancellation and returns
You can cancel any order free of charge before it is dispatched — email us and we will stop it and refund in full.
After dispatch, research materials cannot be accepted back into stock once they have left our controlled environment, because we can no longer evidence their storage history and therefore can no longer guarantee their integrity to anyone else. Sealed goods of this kind are excluded from the statutory cancellation right once unsealed, for health-protection reasons.
Our Returns page explains how this works in detail, including what happens with unopened accessories and merchandise, and the statutory rights that are unaffected by any of it.
8. If something is wrong with your order
If goods arrive damaged, are not as described, or are not of satisfactory quality, we will replace them or refund you. Tell us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the outer packaging, the inner packaging and the item itself, and keep the packaging until the claim is closed.
This does not limit your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or, for business buyers, the Sale of Goods Act 1979.
9. Lost, delayed or missing parcels
Please allow the carrier’s own investigation window to pass before we treat a parcel as lost — this is usually ten working days for UK tracked services. After that we will replace or refund.
If tracking shows a parcel as delivered and you have not received it, tell us within 48 hours. We will raise it with the carrier, request proof of delivery and GPS data, and ask you to check with neighbours and any safe place you have nominated. Where a carrier confirms delivery to your address and we can find no evidence otherwise, we may be unable to replace the order.
10. Claims we decline
We may decline a claim where it is reported outside the windows above, where the evidence we have asked for is not provided, where an address was given incorrectly, where a parcel was redirected by you after dispatch, or where we have reasonable grounds to believe a claim is not genuine.
Repeated or coordinated claims we believe to be fraudulent will be refused, reported where appropriate, and may result in the account being closed.
11. Complaints
If something has gone wrong, email us with your order number and what happened. We aim to acknowledge within one working day and resolve within five. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, say so and it will be escalated.
12. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, wasted expenditure, or any indirect or consequential loss.
We are not liable for any loss arising from use of our products outside their intended purpose as laboratory reference materials, including any administration to a person or animal, which is prohibited.
13. Using this website
The content of this website, including text, photography, product imagery and layout, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy, republish or use it commercially without our written permission. Trade customers and affiliates are given a licence to use the materials in the packs we supply, for the purpose of promoting our products.
You must not misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or use automated means to scrape it. We may suspend access where we believe this is happening.
14. Trade and affiliate accounts
Wholesale accounts and affiliate accounts are subject to separate terms issued when the account is approved. Those terms require, among other things, that you repeat the research-use-only position in full, that you make no medicinal, dosing or therapeutic claims, and that affiliates disclose the commercial relationship on every post. We review listings and promotion, and we close accounts that do not comply.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the version published when you placed it. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
16. Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.
